Microsoft released the Android-App for your service Flow, allowing to automate workflows.
Back in April, Microsoft has introduced a web version of the service Flow, which allows you to automate routine business processes like IFTTT. Then it came to iOS: client for Apple's mobile operating system made its debut in June. Now came the turn of Android - the application is already in Google Play.
So, what is a Flow? We remember that in Microsoft's arsenal has also CAPOr Conditional Action Programmer, which by its ideology is close to IFTTT. It may seem strange that Microsoft is developing just two of the same type of service, but upon closer inspection, the difference will be obvious. Flow is focused on the interaction with Microsoft programs and services such as Office 365, Dynamics CRM, PowerApps, Yammer, and other business-oriented solutions, including MailChimp, GitHub, Salesforce and many others.
The mobile app for Android or iOS lets you create different scenarios and responses to their implementation, view the history of activity, configure notifications. Microsoft Flow opportunities are clearly visible in the screenshots from Google Play. You can use a number of different actions and reactions to them, to automate work situations. For example, the downloaded file to your Dropbox will automatically will get a copy in the SharePoint, and your colleagues will be notified in Slack - this is just one of the typical problems Flow.
The CAP also focuses on ordinary users and automate their operations using natural language. CAP in its development while significantly lags behind the Flow, but strong interest in Microsoft in this direction suggests that the prospects are for both projects.
