900 million Android-devices contain several critical vulnerabilities

In Qualcomm chips found vulnerabilities, which enable applications to have full access to devices on Android.
The staff at Check Point found four serious vulnerabilities in Qualcomm's chips, which cost 80% Android-devices.
A hacker can get their hands on the smartphone and all data on it, if a user installs an infected application. And for full access such a program does not need special permissions.
At the moment, vulnerable 900 million devices, including BlackBerry Priv, Blackphone, Samsung Galaxy S7, Moto X, HTC One, HTC One M9, HTC 10, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, LG G4, LG G5, LG V10, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3.
The main problem in the drivers that are installed on machines in production time.
Google has already released patches for three vulnerabilities of the four, but they are only available for owners of the Nexus. The latest patch will appear in September.
All other manufacturers produce patches much slower for several reasons, including because of the long approval process.
At the moment, the best way to protect against hacking - only install applications from the official store Google Play.
