Money Manager Ex - a free cross-platform, open-source, multilingual financial manager. Deciding to test it, I put nesklko tasks: to check whether it is really so easy to use, as they say on the website developers, and how it is suitable to take into account my daily financial transactions. The program was interesting and quite powerful.
The program is multilingual. But make no mistake once, there are pitfalls - it is partially multilingual. I had to run the dictionary and understand the settings, as surfactant interface is translated, if the drop deeper, the settings of the second and third level in English.
However, experiment a bit, I got a portable financial assistant, which is able to:
- keep track of costs and revenues (the main right listed in the default database)
- sort accounts (so called base calculations on which the program is pushed in the calculations) on various grounds
- compare income and expenses, to forecast, plan and budget
- keep records of accounts payable and accounts dept
- visual display various reports in the form of graphs, tables and charts (about a dozen major advance recorded in the initial database)
The program works fine with the stick without the registry entries, if you download and unpack the distribution, going in the archive. If you are not afraid of the English language and enjoy financial order, then this is your program.
Download the latest stable build (at the moment it is 0.8.3.9) for Windows / Linux SuSe / Linux Ubuntu.
