The best films of the XXI century according to critics and viewers

BBC employees interviewed critics from around the world and compiled a list of the greatest paintings, who managed to get out in the XXI century. We offer a look at it, as well as an alternate list of films created by the audience.

BBC journalists have contacted 177 kinoekspertami from all continents, except for Antarctica. The number of respondents included academics, curators and reviewers. The result of this work was the list of films made from 2000 to the current year and selected by professionals as the best. We chose the first 50 paintings in the rankings to share with you.

As the experts - audience specific, their choice may not coincide with the tastes of the majority. Therefore, we also present an alternative ranking of the XXI century movies, based on estimates of the ordinary spectators. It served as a source of international resources database IMDb.
