More recently, Microsoft has provided to the court of public pre-release version of its new operating system, as we have already presented to you in detail basic facts about Windows 8. The most interesting and lively debate in the comments caused a new interface operating system's desktop in Metro style. Not all have the opportunity and time to install Windows 8 and try-it-yourselfers. However, to get some idea of the Metro UI can be without it.
Newgen - a program of third-party developers, repeating in Windows 7 or Vista look and function of the start screen of Windows 8. After installing and running the program shows us filled with the background color of the desktop applications with a few tiles. Install additional modules can click on the button Store.
The choice of modules is not so rich, but everything you need is available. Displays the time, weather, pictures, checking Gmail, and Google Calendar events, custom shortcuts and links to favorite sites, there is still something in detail. I would like to mention Facebook module, which is made nice and pretty comfortable.
Clicking on the left edge of the screen displays the panel through programs, and when you click on the right side - panel Newgen settings. To add or remove a module, you must right-click in the right pane and select the appropriate item. All the actions are accompanied by effects, so it looks pretty good.
Program NewgenDespite the presence of a number of flaws and errors, it will help create a curious idea of the Metro interface of Windows 8 before the release. After bringing to mind and adding a sufficient amount of additional modules, it is possible to be able to act and as a viable alternative.
