Keller Rinaudo, founder and CEO of Romotive, in his speech at the TED demonstrates their mini-robot named Romo. Romo controlled via a smartphone or tablet and can go with you on a walk, to move the cup of coffee on the table and respond to you programmed behavior. In addition, it has another nice feature - it takes over your character;)
Not as rapidly as it had imagined science fiction, but humanity is gradually making small but important advances in robotics. While on the street can not be found a humanoid robot to walk the dog or cutting lawns, but there are robots that perform a huge number of tasks.
Keller Rinaudo, founder and CEO of Romotive, in his speech at the TED shows another small step - a mini-robot named Romo. Romo controlled via a smartphone or tablet and can go with you on a walk, to move the cup of coffee on the table and respond to you programmed behavior. In addition, it has another nice feature - it takes over your character. ;)
