Identified candidates to the best programs for Mac OS X in 2010

Not so long ago it became known ( http://macradar.ru/news/ada/), the authors tehnobloga Ars Technica decided to hold its own competition for the best developers for Mac OS X in this year (as at WWDC 2010 is known to be awarded only to the creators of the programs for the iPhone OS).

And now, the nominees were to win in all categories, among which there are the following:

• In the category "Best New Application» (Best New App) allocated 1Password program, Flickery, Panorama, Steam and Transmit.
• From the list of Best User Experience selected Cheetah 3D, DaisyDisk (interview with the author), Pixelmator, Transmit and Tweetie.
• The nominees for "The most innovative applications» (Most Innovative App) called Bodega, CloudApp, Dropbox, Notational Velocity and Snippets (our overview).
• Among the potentially "best educational applications for high school» (Best K-12 Education App) marked Ebbinghaus program, Papers, Soulver, Stellarium and Syllabus.
• And finally, in the nomination "Best program created by a student» (Best Student-created App) present jitouch, Pollux, Schoolhouse, Subv and Core Data Editor.

It should be clarified that it is - yet the nominees to win, not winners. And the authors of the publication will choose one the best applications in each category. In addition to site Ars Technica still continuing voting for 10 programs that will receive the title of "Readers' Choice. Please note that the list of nominees for this award, there are two applications from living in the post-Soviet space developers. It DaisyDisk and Snippets. All interested persons can actively support compatriots, because voting will last until Sunday.

The winners of this competition will be announced during the conference WWDC 2010, which will be held from 7 to 11 June.
