Makradar Technologies / / December 19, 2019
The new music service from Apple iTunes Radio is currently available only in the US, and we can only hope that Apple will ever launch iTunes Radio and Russia. In the App Store there are many applications for listening to Internet radio, but until recently, I could not find there what would I really liked. But the other day I came across the Radium and I want to share with you my impressions of the application.
The first thing I want to say about the application - its design is gorgeous. Radium - is one of the best examples of how to create applications for iOS 7. All interface elements look great and harmonious look with each other. One gets the feeling that this is not an application of third-party developers and the standard iOS 7 app.
When you add a radio station in his catalog, Radium assigns the appropriate icon. For example, for stations playing popular music, it's sunglasses, and for news - paper. In addition, depending on the type of station you're listening to right now, and will change the color of the substrate application.
At the beginning of the work, the app will ask you to add a few radio stations. The choice is huge, both among foreign stations, and among Russian. You can add them as the title, and keywords - for example, genres and countries.
Some radio stations may show playing at the moment the track. And then the following occurs: Radium loads the album cover of the song, artist and album finds and change the color scheme of the entire application. Very beautiful. By the way, the album cover and track playback is available on the lock-screen.
Radium but not limited only to the beautiful outer shell. The tracks you are currently listening to, you can easily buy from the iTunes link and scrobble on Last.fm. In addition, the annex there is an equalizer that lets you adjust the sound "by itself" by adjusting the low, mid and high frequencies.
At Radium there is a version for Mac and you can synchronize data between it and the iPhone-version of iCloud applications.
In general, Radium all good - and excellent design and good functionality and stability. I am happy to listen to Internet radio using this application and suggest you give it a try. Maybe you know of other good applications for the Internet Radio for iOS and Mac? Share your findings in the comments.
