Focus 2 Pro for OS X: more features, more flexible customization

Not so long ago on "MakRadare" was Focus program review of Ukrainian companies MacPhun. Simple user-friendly tools and high-quality image processing program provided a warm welcome from the amateurs. And just yesterday, developers have published a Pro-version of the "Focus", greatly expanding the capabilities of its core product.

Former regime stylization pictures - portrait, landscape, architecture, macro, tilt-shift and user - have remained in place. However, semi-automatic and automatic parameter settings in the Focus 2 Pro is gone.

In the Pro-version of the editor, the user can fine-tune the parameters of the visual focus and blur area separately: for the contrast of light and shade, saturation, clarity, sharpness and richness provided the sliders. In addition, the program appeared to be more flexible to manage itself blur by changing the type or direction of blur (useful, for example, to simulate the collision of fast camera at the subject).

Just Focus 2 Pro provides three types of blur: linear in movement, focus and radial. Last, when compared with the basic version of the "Focus", an order of magnitude more flexibly configurable: special anchor point tool radial blur allow you to change the shape of a circle to an ellipse and pulling one of the dotted points, washes can be rotated arbitrary angle.

A separate line is worth noting the introduction of support for RAW-format, including 16-bit color depth.

Crop tool and the Export menu in the Focus 2 Pro are similar to the basic version of the application. The program also allows you to install a plugin with similar functionality to Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Photoshop Elements, and Apple Aperture. However, support for iCloud here you will not find, as the Pro-version of the Mac App Store does not apply.

So if the base version of the Focus you like, but its abilities are significantly lacking, - Focus 2 Pro is definitely worth attention.
