Not long ago I watched a remarkable cycle Transmission of the Romanov dynasty, which was presented in an unusual manner, it was sort of a mixture of graphics, animation, fiction and documentary films. For the project have been specially filmed numerous costumed scenes from our history for centuries intertwined with the royal family.
After a while I learned that, in addition to the gear, it has created an incredibly interesting multimedia exhibition "Orthodox Russia. My story. Romanov ", which was attended by more than 500 000 people in different cities of our country. And since the show was so popular, we decided to release and iOS-based application of its materials.
History - a collection of certain eras that marked his events and rulers. Similarly, periods of application and it is "My Story", telling the Romanov dynasty, whose reign began with a 16-year-old Mikhail Romanov.
Each era you can see by looking at a professionally voiced slide show or reading interesting materials submitted in the application. By pressing the menu button on the main screen, you can easily get acquainted with the family tree of the Romanovs, the materials used in the application, as well as purchase the full version.
The first three epochs in the application are free, they include the Time of Troubles, the reign of Mikhail Fedorovich and Alexei Mikhailovich. The rest of the age, you can buy an additional cost to the extent that it deems acceptable for themselves.
I think similar applications in the App Store should become as much as possible. They will help us all to get acquainted with the events of our history or restore the already long-forgotten facts in mind. And for students - it's just a great opportunity to learn a new subject in an interesting interactive way.
And the design and quality of the submissions truly excellent. Even if this story to you seemed to be something incomprehensible, this time you will find it incredibly exciting. In addition, as Cicero said: "I do not know the history - it means always to be a child" - so let's try to grow up.
