IPhone learns to determine dirt on the screen and disable sensors

Apple's new patent provides for the establishment of a special system that will be able to determine the degree of contamination of the screen. This has two advantages: the person will know that the smartphone should be wiped, but in the smartphone will not be false light sensor alarms.

The document describes a scenario in which due to abundant screen brightness contamination sensor may operate incorrectly. For example, do not turn off the screen when your smartphone closer to your ear (there are accidentally pressed on the display) while talking, or vice versa - to turn off the screen when the user holds the iPhone in his hands. Another scenario - an arbitrary decrease screen brightness.

Thanks to new technology, iPhone will be able to determine what makes it difficult to hit the light on the screen: a foreign element or finger / head of a man. The company is confident that if the system will be able to determine the cause of light hit, the screen will be able to avoid accidental disconnections. How exactly can recognize iPhone keeps out light - is not specified.

What is interesting, this problem is very rare. It is difficult to imagine that on the iPhone screen has appeared as a dense layer of pollution, which would prevent the penetration of light to the brightness sensor. However, obtaining a patent does not mean that the technology be allowed to develop.
