Enough nostalgia: how to disable the feature on Facebook "On this day"

Many, many people (and if you believe all kinds of research, almost all) like sticky social networking, browsing through past records. Enough to put up with it and wasting precious time! We know a way to help get rid of the habit of looking to the past and motivated to live here and now.

Almost every one of us has an addiction to review old messages, to remember past events and view your favorite photos. Function Facebook "On this day" allows you to mark certain entries in the social network and view their later years as a calendar of events that occurred on that day. Enables filtering as follows:

1. With the help of the desktop version of the browser you want to open the full version of their pages to Facebook.
2. In the menu "Applications" click on "On this day", highlighting function.
3. GEAR click on "Settings" next to the name.
4. Press the "Change" button next to the "Terms" under the heading "Filters."
5. Press "Enter the date."
6. To completely switch off the reminder function on the events marked or created on this day, select "Date of creation" as the start date and "Until the End" as the deadline for the filter action.
7. After you need to click "Finish" and "Save".

After these manipulations Facebook cease to display any memories from the past. If you just want to limit the time period, not getting rid of the reminders at all, you can narrow your filter by certain dates.
