Rovio will be the publisher of third-party games

Rovio Entertainment, creator of the series Angry Birds, announced the expansion of its business. The company plans to take the publication, distribution and marketing of games from third-party developers. The new program, which will make available to smaller companies marketing resources and expertise of Rovio, called Rovio Stars. The first result of this initiative was the release of the game Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage from Nitrome Ltd.
Following Icebreaker followed puzzle Tiny Thief 5 Ants studio.
The official blog of Rovio its director of development Calle Kayfola said that Rovio wants to help developers "perfect polish their games and publish them to find their audience." At the same time Rovio will focus on a small number of games, and each release will receive maximum support.
In fact, Rovio offers its partnership in the final prodakshene and post-production. Experts of the company will serve as the mentors at the design stage and at the marketing stage, PR and distribution in all app stores.
