Apple is in the near future may introduce two new devices - mouse Magic Mouse and updated second-generation wireless keyboard Wireless Keyboard. Moreover, it is not about patents and the registration of new devices to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Relevant documents "lit up" on the FCC website with a note that the company is already testing the final product and in the near future it will be displayed for sale on the market. One of the main differences between the new products - support for Bluetooth 4.2 technology with Bluetooth LE. What does it mean?
Current versions of Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard 2 equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 technology. New generation Wireless economical in terms of energy consumption, and has a stronger signal for stable work.
Another change - the rejection of the batteries. Instead, each of the devices will receive the built-in battery, which is recharged via USB. Current versions of Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard powered by conventional AA-batteries that need to be replaced from time to time.
FCC documents do not indicate when it will be released a new mouse and keyboard. Most likely, they can be seen to be bundled with the new iMac. This event, as we reported earlier, it is expected this fall. Then the device will be available for separate purchase.
External touchpad Apple Magic Trackpad, apparently, will remain unchanged: no documents on its renewal has not been noticed.
