Refresh For the Mac: a quick search on any website

Unfortunately, one of my favorite plugins for Safari, Keywurl, ordered to live long. Judging by the large number of reviews on the site of the developer not only me alone. However, the absence of this important function has prompted me to try an alternative in the form of Refresh for the Mac.

Like many small, but very useful utilities, Refresh is not the main window, and is located in the menu bar, a separate icon in the form of a magnifying glass in the square. Clicking on it will display a menu consisting of several elements.

To add a user searches for a particular site, we need a web address - URL, containing a keyword or a phrase. As an example, we use the site MakRadara to search for which is used here, this design:

http://macradar.ru/?s=%k,
where% k - the search string.

The first thing you want to select the menu item «Add Custom Search ...» in the window that appears, specify a name for the new element, as well as the search address, do not forget to add a keyword as a% k. If desired, a set of two characters may be replaced by a special button in the window - «Insert Keyword».

After that, the added search will appear at the end of «Searches» list. Saved "blanks" is very simple to use:

• Select the desired search;
• in the window that appears, enter a request;
• and click on the button «Search»;
• etc. In the browser displays the site we are interested in the search results.

But that's not all. It turns out, the utility is able to update your status on Twitter! :)
