XLD. Convert music Lossless-in Mac OS X

I can not say that I listen only Lossless-music and nothing but her, but about a quarter of the music library - the most-most - stores in native format Apple ALAC. Only here's the problem: most of the music I found available in other formats that can not be read in iTunes, so I found a compromise option - XLD.
XLD (stands for X Lossless Decoder) is a remarkable free utility which, in addition, It comes with a source for decoding and reproducing various konverattsii «lossless» audio files. At this point, supported by such major formats:
- FLAC (.flac / .ogg);
- Monkey's Audio (.ape);
- Wavpack (.wv);
- TTA (.tta);
- Apple Lossless (ALAC, .m4a);
- AIFF, WAV and so on.
Surprisingly, the application does not have a main window and is represented by an icon in the Dock Mac OS X, as well as the settings window. I think it is worth looking in more detail. For example, the general properties of the program, such as shown in the first tab: format and output folder, file name format, the encoding for cue, actions when the back-up and the ability to automatically add the finished files to your iTunes library or selected playlist.
The second tab, «Batch», devoted to the batch processing of files. On the third mortgage, «CDDB», based on the CD, XLD ID can automatically retrieve data about the disc from special websites that the user can choose their own. The fourth tab is devoted to the "obscene", and the fifth - the detailed CD Rip settings.
I must say that even though not the most outstanding performance of my Mac'a, the conversion does not take much time. Among other advantages XLD can distinguish the presence of architecture, involving the extension of functionality applications by plugins interface to use the utility from the command line and quite often update. It's nice that the developer does not forget about his "child".
