Every major update iOS Apple never ceases to please us new features. But innovation does not become popular if the user is not able to understand how to use them. Siri immediately captivated us with its brevity and simplicity. On the other hand there iCloud, to which the users are still not really used to. But, in addition to Siri and iCloud, iOS has a lot of "chips" that can make your life easier. iOS 6 has over 200 features and changes that you might not notice immediately after the update. Many complain about the Auto Brightness function, mistakenly believing that the sensors simply do not work. Fortunately, this is not the case, and the problem can be solved by calibrating the light sensor.
In fact, the adjustment Auto Brightness in IOS 6 is a vast improvement over previous versions. Previously, the light sensor has been completely automated and adjust the brightness of the screen to your liking. Now the user can control the operation of sensors. You can easily determine the brightness level that is comfortable for you, and IOS takes this choice into account when calculating the level of brightness for the new lighting conditions. However, for the sensor to function correctly, you need to make small adjustments. Here's how to do it:
1. Take a flashlight or go into a dark room. This may sound like a joke, but, believe me, the end result is worth it.
2. Open the settings and go to the "Brightness & Wallpaper".
3. Turn off the "Auto Brightness".
4. If you entered into a dark room, the brightness, drag the slider to the minimum level. For those who are not satisfied with this option, keep a flashlight (or other light source) as close as possible to the iPhone screen and drag the slider to the maximum.
5. Now, when the sensor is configured, turn on "Auto Brightness".
Now, to make sure that the calibration is successful, the exit section "Brightness & Wallpaper" and you change the ambient light level. Brightness slider will move itself at each change in your surroundings. In iOS 6, the auto-brightness and working on the lock screen, which is also useful in some situations.
So, if you upgraded to IOS 6 and do not understand why the function does not work "Auto Brightness", try our little trick, I'm sure things will get better. Write in the comments who have tried this method, I think for many it will be useful.
