Turning on iOS with Android, I immediately began looking for an application to calculate calorie diet. The green robot me faithfully served as a wonderful app "Sandwich" but on iOS no Russian-speaking the application was not with such functionality. I've been desperate, but absolutely happened to see a link to the app Diet Diary that despite some shortcomings is probably the best application for such tasks.
When you first go into the iPhone appYou will immediately be offered to fill in the basic information (weight, height, activity level, etc.). Various parameters are quite a few and you can configure the application individually for themselves. Also, the app itself will choose you the optimum daily ration of calories based on the entered data.
Then on the main screen will display your daily food diary with various information. In addition to this, on the main screen will be displayed:
- nutritional value of the diet
- quantity of water drunk
- calories per workout
To add a new food to the diet you need to click on the plus sign in the lower right corner and select the product and quantity. Choosing the size of the product, you will immediately see the number of consumed fats, carbohydrates and proteins, as well as different units.
The main advantage of the application is a huge list of products in Russian, plus the ability to create their own products and dishes. Adding a new product you will need to specify its caloric content, select units (ounces, grams, kilograms) and provide nutritional value. All of this can be found on the packaging of the product you need.
(joke)
Maybe someone will like the fact that the app provides a list of diets. But, here is where I would like to stay. Some diets here only for self-flagellation and are good for your body. I do not know who wants to sit on 1000 calories a day. Therefore, I advise you to think twice before sitting down on such diets.
When you add meals, they will be located underneath each other in your blog and you will always be able to view all the details of each product. The only drawback to this is that the program records your food exactly the time when you entered them. That is, if you ate at 8am and then at 10 am and at 13:00 only remembered that it is time to make all of this in a diary, the program will record all these dishes at 13:00 and will not give you the ability to change it. Let us hope that it will fix in the next version.
The app keeps statistics and you can always look at your progress. Or regress :(
The application also abounds in other functions such as the daily consumption of water, various kinds of training and so on, but as for me it only prevents overloading the interface and focus on the main functions performed by the program, namely, - count calories.
Personally, I'm not finding a better alternative decided on this application. Try it!
