TextMate 2.0 will be the Christmas present makovodov

Back in 2004, I saw the light text editor for Mac OS, known as TextMate. He was quickly recognized as one of the best, convenient and powerful product of its kind for developers on the Mac platform. But after a few years of the program's features it was not enough, and its creator has promised to release a major update to users. Looks like TextMate 2.0 release have to wait quite a bit.

According to Cult of Mac, TextMate 2.0 will be available for public beta testing before the Catholic Christmas. What made the creators of the software so long to pore over the new version of the editor? After all, back in 2009 the developer Allan Odgaard (Allan Odgaard) claimed that the update at that time, had already begun to take concrete features. But it was decided to postpone the release and completely rework the program. It is difficult to improve the chic in every product and in fact the aim of the authors was TextMate, as a minimum, fully meet the expectations of users.

However makovodov I had to wait too long for a new version of your favorite applications. And competitors have appeared many TextMate. Among them we can mention Sublime Text and BBEdit. Nice to hear about the return of once so popular product, they say, "in the big leagues," but TextMate 2.0 must be really impressive to re-conquer the developers and ordinary users of OS X.
