Rar Mac OS X: archiver for poppy

So, first download the latest version RAR for Mac OS X and extract the resulting archive. Open the terminal and moved into a folder with the archiver (cd, gap pertaskivaem folder to the window terminal):

cd / Desktop / rar

Then run the installation on behalf of the root:

sudo install -c -o% shortname% rar / bin

not forgetting that the% shortname% should be your username (recognized using the whoami command) and enter the administrator password.

Done.

Correct installation can be checked by typing in the RAR command terminal.

And finally, the answer to a stupid question "what for?": As we know, not all of the available free RAR frontends are able to work effectively with them, which is fraught with some problems.
