Some useful tools in OS X are hidden away and safely. Few people, for example, knows about diagnosis of Wi-Fi-signal.
One such discovery for me was the presence of the built-in password generator.
All passwords are stored in the OS X application "Keychain". Run the application (Programs - Utilities - Keychain Access). At the bottom of the window, click on the "+" button.
The program prompts you to enter your login and password information. If you click on the icon on the right key, "Keychain Access" generate the password automatically.
Please note that the type of "memorable" produces is not very strong passwords (as well as "Letters and Numbers"). The best option - "Custom".
In this window, you can specify a password quality. The more characters, the safer. However, some services are limiting the password. Some prohibit the use of special characters, others limit the length.
Built-in help to create a strong password. If you use only one browser, Safari, this program will be sufficient. If you use different browsers or want to have access to the passwords on the iPhone and iPad, then you have to look in the direction of third-party solutions. For example, - 1Password ($ 50).
