In him Kristen Stewart together with a team of researchers trying to find shelter after their underwater laboratory damaged by the earthquake. As it turned out, the same earthquake awakened a monster. Further events are reminiscent of the "Alien", but not in spaceAnd at a depth below the Mariana Trench.

Besides Stewart film played Vincent Cassel, T. J. Miller, Jessica Henwick, John Gallagher ml. and Mamudov Ati. In the director's chair sat William Eubank, who worked on the sci-fi thriller "Signal" in 2014.

Filming "Under the Sea" was completed in 2017, and the fact that the issue has taken so much time, not a good sign. Another wake-up call - release in January. Typically, this month is considered low season. But hope for the best: after all, it's nice to see new projects, rather than restarting, and sequels superheroes.

Russian premiere is scheduled for January 9, 2020.
