In his speech at CES 2016 a representative of Netflix announced the beginning of broadcasting in 130 new countries. In the list, among others, present Russia and Ukraine, as well as India and South Korea.

At the moment, citizens of Russia can up and pay for a subscription to three tariffs: Basic, Standard and Premium, the cost of which will be 650, 800 and 950 rubles per month, respectively. Standard fare enables you to watch different content on the two devices at the same time in HD-quality. Premium - once in four to Ultra HD. It provides a month of free use, to switch to another tariff at any time.

According to current information, Netflix is ​​not available in the Crimea, North Korea and Syria: US authorities have banned American companies from working there. It prohibited the dissemination of established Netflix TV shows such as "House of Cards."

In addition, at CES 2016 it was announced that Netflix plans associated with the production of own content in 2016. Now we know that there will be 31 season series - the new and not very good, about 20 feature films and 30 children's TV series. It is assumed that the broadcast will be made taking into account the local market characteristics, cultural and religious beliefs of the local population.
