How to force YouTube to clear history automatically

YouTube saves all your browsing history and use it to advise you an interesting video. If your account is often used by other people, or you just want your recommendations have always been relevant, it is possible to clear the history. Now the service can do this automatically.

Here's how to set it up:

1. Go to the section "YouTube History"In your Google Account.
2. Click "Specify the storage period" in the right window.
3. Select how long the YouTube must keep browsing history before automatically delete it - 3 or 18 months.
4. Click "Next" and agree to the changes. Tools will erase all data stored for longer period you've chosen.

If you do not want the service to save your history, do the following:

1. In the "History of the YouTube" click "Edit settings" in the left window.
2. You will see two checkboxes - "Keep the video" and "Save search terms." Remove the right, or simply change the position of the switch «YouTube History" above to turn off both points.
3. Confirm the change by clicking the "Disable".
