1. Amadeus

Outstanding work of Czech director, certainly deserves attention. The picture has collected eight statuettes "Oscar", including Best Picture, and tore applause of spectators.

The basis of the tape lay-nominal Peter Shaffer's play. "Amadeus" tells the story of the confrontation between the two great composers: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri. Of course, this is largely a fictional story, but less interesting from this it does not become.

2. flying over Cuckoo's Nest

This is one of those films that fell on the soul and the critics and the audience. The picture has become popular and has won five statuettes "Oscar". The author of the novel was unhappy with the script, and vowed never to watch this movie.

3. Hair

It's a good movie about love, friendship and devastating war, spiced with good music and a sunny atmosphere. The film has not lost relevance, even after 30 years. Today his promise as important as ever.

4. Man on the Moon

Biographical drama about the eccentric comedian Andy Kaufman. The plot covers the entire life of the artist, from his childhood performances until his death.

The main role played by Jim Carrey. Many Kaufman fans, including R.E.M. vocalist, felt that Jim would not be able to play the legendary comedian, but after the premiere of the film changed their minds.

5. People vs. Larry Flynt

The main hero of this film was Larry Flynt - businessman of 70, who made a fortune in the publishing pornozhurnala "Hustler". Larry Flynt divided the society into two parts: some were for it, others against. After many tests, the businessman was able to prove their right to freedom of expression.

6. Loves of a Blonde

The film is set in a small town. The main heroine of Andulo meets a young musician. They spend the night together, after which the gentleman safely returned home to Prague. Andulo seriously reacted to the incident, I packed up and went to meet with the parents of her future husband.

7. avulsion

• Duration: 93 minutes.

The first film by Milos Forman, created after his emigration to the United States. The director quickly imbued with rebellious and took a satire on the theme of generations, in the course of making fun of the vices of American society.

In the story, a picture teenage girl runs away from home and wanders aimlessly around New York. Parents at this time is sent to find her, getting into different situations.

At the box office the film flopped. Apparently, American audiences sensitive to the foreigners, and ridiculed their lifestyle.

8. Ragtime

Satirical comedy and the last picture of Milos Forman, filmed in Czechoslovakia. In the story of the fire brigade of a small provincial town planning Ball, dedicated to the birthday of the head of the fire department.

Plans for the team really grandiose: a festive lottery, a beauty contest and a precious gift in the end. But they all turn into dust, and the city besides a fire starts.
