10 Emir Kusturica's films, which are worth seeing

This is the first English-language project Kusturica, starring such stars as Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway. However, the American public did not appreciate the story of a shattered dream, and the film flopped at the box office. After that, the director said that he no longer wants to work in Hollywood.

Belgrade at the beginning of World War II. People are faced with fascism and try to understand how they live. And then gradually organize the dungeon factory for the production of weapons. Years go by, the war is long over, but continues to operate underground, and people who do not go to the surface, it is believed that there is still fighting with the Nazis.

Many consider this film the top creative Kusturica. He put into it a lot of personal experiences associated with the history of World Bosnian war of the early nineties. Then the house director in Sarajevo was destroyed, and he could not speak about this tragedy. In addition to the full-length three-hour version, there is a television, for a total of 300 minutes.

It was after the release of "Underground" Kusturica has quarreled with Goran Bregovic. The director blamed the composer that he issued the folk songs for his work, and did not pay for the soundtrack. They are not made up until now.
