An updated iOS-app Strava uses the Apple Watch as Cardiosensor

We have great news: now the Apple Watch can be used as Cardiosensor not only for the "native" sports application from Apple and Runkeeper, but for Strava!
The next update of sports Strava app for iOS and the owners of Apple Watch users finally had the opportunity to use the clock as a Cardiosensor. To do this, you need to upgrade to watchOS 2, and your phone must be nearby. That is, on the one hand, you can remove the wireless pulse belts, which, though gives more accurate data, than the wrist sensors, however, it brings some inconvenience, especially during the warm season (rubbed sore to blood).
How it works:
- Run the update application on your phone and, if you have not refreshed on the clock.
- After that, you launch the app on your watch.
- Choose running or biking.
- You start training.
- You can continue to use other sports sensors connected through the phone.
Hours communicate with the phone through the BLE, the clock at the same time spend a little faster battery power than usual. As we have said, the only disadvantage - the need to take with you to the gym phone.
