A1 SWIM - swimming competition in open water for beginners and professionals

July 8 at Kopanskii lake in Leningrad region will be competitions in swimming in open water A1 SWIM among professional athletes and amateurs. Choose one of the four distances and test your strength.

This year, the competition is expected about 700 participants, which are prepared following distances:

• 1852 meters (nmi);
• 3000 meters;
• 5000 meters;
• 10 000 meters.

On the A1 SWIM swim athletes come from all over Russia and from abroad, with the participation in the start take for experienced swimmers and beginners.

Participants overcome the distance in wetsuits (available to rent). At a distance of 10 000 meters provided food item from a boat. During the swim participants accompany boats MES and SUP-surfers that send athletes and monitor their safety.

Special guest of A1 SWIM will be the first in the history of the Olympic swimming champion in open water at a distance of 10 000 meters Larisa Ilchenko. In 2008, she was the first among all the participants finished at a distance of 10 kilometers in Beijing.

At the finish line, all participants will receive a commemorative medal and will be able to recuperate in a specially equipped area, and the most fast swimmers in the absolute standings and in the age groups in each race will receive trophies and prizes from partners competition.

Kopanskoe lake - one of the cleanest in the region underwater visibility of up to 5 meters. Due to the large size of the water routes of all distances are constructed in one round.

A1 SWIM competition distinguishes the festive atmosphere: at the beach at the site of the start of going up to thousands of fans who actively support the athletes.
