I began to attend gym of necessity. Almost half a year I am constantly in pain. I walked a lot of the doctors who could not understand what happened to me and this is why I do not stop aching lower back and legs. All the experts were given the same advice you need to get to an exercise program. I Knew I then, how it will affect my self-confidence ...
But at first this idea I did not like. I thought it was ridiculous to force someone who is suffering and so pain, more and do the exercises. Still, I signed up for the gym. The first week was like hell. I was sweating after a few minutes on the treadmill, but people who had fled there, just a little hard to breathe even after half an hour. After training the entire body ached even more than spin.
Sometimes, to feel better, you need to be patient.
But after two weeks of training I really started to feel better. And for 3 years, I regularly visit a gym: it helps to relieve pain and stress. And today I want to share the lessons that issued from his own experience sports.
1. You will learn to make important decisions
You must decide for themselves that they are willing to endure something unpleasant will happen before that to which you aspire. My decision to engage in the gym was selfish. I'm tired of the pain and wanted to feel better. And when I made the decision, I became more confident.
When you understand what goals you want to achieve, make the right choice much easier.
2. You begin to feel better about yourself and understand where to go
Confidence in itself - is the ability to really trust yourself, and pay little attention to what others think.
I started lifting weights to zero. I was not in shape, was in pain. My goal was simple: I'm starting to slowly improve, following the advice of trainers. So when I went to the fitness machines, on it there was no one kilogram. The first thing I thought about how to get in shape. Of course, I thought, and that people probably look at me funny when I "lift weights" in general, without the weight. But I did not care.
If someone was laughing at me, I did not feel anything but sympathy for him. I knew what I was doing: to become stronger and healthier. This meant that you have to start from the bottom and work their way. I learned to live at their own pace and their own lives. I started to improve my inner compass, understanding that I do not care what others think.
I understand sometimes uncomfortable to be in the room where so many people are in great shape. But over time, you will realize that it is not so important, they are looking at you or not. Also, you will learn that many of them - good people. I remember I was scared to ask for help with the simulator. And for good reason.
Training teach you to deal with people who seem to be very confident. And talking to them, you become more confident themselves.
Soon you will be a confident person in great shape and will seem daunting to another newcomer. Be friendly and remember where you came from, as well as those who have been here before you.
3. You will learn what thanks
Good health - it is a gift. The prospect of losing health scares. Anyone who finds himself in a situation similar to mine, understands this and is willing to do everything necessary to preserve this gift.
Every day when I do not feel pain, I feel grateful. Every time I go to the gym and then I feel a pleasant fatigue, I am grateful for the excellent training and the benefit of time spent. With gratitude comes to the health and the desire to act in order to save it. So, deal with 3 times a week, 52 weeks a year.
4. You learn to be organized
The right decision, you follow a few months, a lot to learn in terms of you discipline. Usually, to some action into a habit, it takes about a month.
I applied the same principle when he began to keep a list of thanks. Three times a day I sit down and write for 5 minutes about 5 things for which I am grateful.
These 5 minutes makes me think about the future and about where I want to be. This adds me confidence and motivates to take action on a daily basis to achieve the objectives.
5. You will become to move slowly, deliberately
Typically, muscular people are moving slowly, and there is a reason: when lifting heavy weights they consciously tense and relax the muscles of those who want to develop. when movin ' slowAre less likely to get hurt, especially if you work with more weight. One wrong move can lead to serious injury, which will disturb more than one week.
When we think of the bustling, impulsive man, he does not seem to us self-confidence: he moves without a purpose, trying to catch everywhere. When you imagine a leisurely man think that he has a rod, he knows where and what goes.
When you do sports, Your body becomes more susceptible to stress and disease resistance. But most importantly, you learn to believe in yourself, or look at life, there is a desire to develop myself as a person. Thanks to the lessons in the gym, you will be able to see themselves in a new way.
