4 dessert with chia seeds: orange, berry, coffee and apple with cinnamon

Not only do we continue to look for you delicious and healthy recipes, but also try as far as possible to test them. We have accumulated an impressive amount of pudding recipes with chia seeds. These desserts do not contain ingredients of animal origin, so that they can be safely attributed to the category of lean. Today we publish the first four. ;)
Recipe № 1. Orange
Ingredients (2 servings):
- 1 cup vegetable milks to choose from;
- ½ cup fresh orange juice;
- 1 orange peel;
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey;
- ¼ cup of chia seeds;
- nuts, coconut, any frozen berries and orange slices for decoration.
preparation
Mix milk, orange juice, orange zest and honey or maple syrup. Add chia seeds and mixed well. Expanding into cups or ice-cream bowls, confers lifelong literally 5 minutes, again well mixed and send in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Before serving, sprinkle with nuts, coconut, orange slices and berries (optional).
Recipe № 2. Apple cider with cinnamon
Ingredients (2 servings):
- 2 cups unsweetened milk plant;
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, vanillin or pinch;
- ⅔ cup of chia seeds;
- 2 tablespoons coconut;
- 2 apples, peeled and cut into thin slices;
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
preparation
This pudding is served warm. To make it, pour the milk and vanilla extract in a saucepan and heat on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. It should not be hot, just warm. We spread the chia seeds in a deep dish and pour the seeds of milk. Continuously stirred for about two minutes until the chia seeds absorb milk. Then left for 5 minutes, add the top apple, cinnamon and coconut and filing the table. If you do not want a warm pudding, then heat the milk is not necessary. Simply are doing the same things, but with the milk at room temperature. You can also add a little honey.
Recipe № 3. Coffee
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 1½ cups of brewed coffee (decaffeinated possible);
- 2 table spoons cocoa;
- ½ cup coconut milk;
- 1¼ cups almond milk;
- ¼ cup honey;
- 1 cup chia seed;
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (optional).
preparation
Simply mix all ingredients in a bowl, poured into a cup or ice-cream bowls and send in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.
Recipe № 4. Berry
Ingredients (2 servings):
- 1 cup of coconut milk;
- ½ cup frozen or fresh berries;
- ¼ cup of chia seeds;
- honey to taste.
preparation
Whip blender with coconut milk, honey and berries. Expanding into glasses, add chia seeds, mixed well, and send in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
Personal observations
To be honest, I did not expect to get so delicious. The consistency of this dessert is somewhat reminiscent of passion fruit, but it is more dense and more small and soft seeds. My favorite of these four options - a coffee, but I did not add to the chocolate protein powder. I think that it would be even tastier. Apple was in last place.
During preparation, I used milk from walnutsAnd instead of coconut milk were coconut cream. They are much thicker coconut milk and the pudding turns out more dense. If you're okay - good, but if you want to make the dessert more fluid, you need to either add a little less chia seeds or use less coconut cream and more milk plant.
For berry pudding I chose blueberries, as well as during the preparation of desserts without its coco chips, because they do not really love her.
Another point on which I would like to stay: obligatory mix seeds both during the pouring of the liquid, and after they stand up 5 minutes before heading to the refrigerator. If you do not mix, you will get lumpy pudding.
