Food for oral health

We do not always understand or reflect on the fact that food has an impact on the body, not only in the form of assimilation. During eating food itself affects the oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus and stomach, since it has its own characteristics:
Chemical composition. Sugar, is known to cause dental caries. In alcoholic beverages and meat contains carcinogenic substances that contribute to cancer of the mouth, esophagus and stomach (we'll discuss this in the article "Nutrition and Cancer").
Texture. If bad chew - ground and mixed with saliva - tough food, it can cause irritation of the esophagus and stomach. But, on the other hand, with proper treatment strengthens the gums and teeth.
Temperature. If the food is too hot or, conversely, very cold, it irritates the esophagus and may cause cancer.
Therefore, in the selection and use of food as food is necessary to take into account the above characteristics of the products or dishes, so food was really healthy.
Oral ulcers
Inflammation of the oral medicine referred aphthous stomatitis. The most famous and widespread of stomatitis - herpes, which covers the mouth painful white sores. The causes of the disease may be a few, many of them are usually interrelated:
- nutritional deficiencies (folic acid, B vitamins, iron);
- stress and mental strain;
- a weakened immune system, which may be the result of the first two reasons;
- viral infection, clinging to a weakened immune system;
- allergy to unfamiliar foods for the body.

Oral malodor (halitosis)
The cause of halitosis can become individually or in combination: the use of alcohol, tobacco smoking, poor oral hygiene, lack of water, digestive disorders and constipation.

Today we know, even the children that cause tooth decay are certain bacteria that are very fond of sugar and actively proliferate, if any. Therefore, first we need to exclude soft drinks containing large amounts of sugar and acids corroding enamel and not to forget the oral hygiene.

Gingivitis and periodontitis
Gingivitis - inflammation of the gums with possible bleeding. Launched gingivitis may develop into a more complex shape - periodontitis, wherein the damaged alveolar bone supporting the teeth, which leads to loosening and loss of teeth.

Lack of appetite
With a poor appetite or lack thereof faced each, but if such a state is delayed, please contact doctor and be sure to find out the cause of this disorder, as this may be a manifestation of serious diseases.
Under ordinary violations need to eat foods that improve the appetite and facilitate digestion:
- natural seasonings and refueling (garlic, lemon, aromatic herbs) stimulate appetite and are prepared by the digestion process;
- olives;
- horseradish;
- rhubarb;
- horse radish;
- sloe;
- pollen.
