Sometimes even religious books have to go a very long way from writing for publication. The book "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by American author Robert Pirsig passed just such a way. Pirsig sent the manuscript to the publisher 121, and all of these publishers rejected it. Only 122 th publisher decided to publish a book published.
Robert Pirsig is an American writer and philosopher, and features a large number of works. In fact, he wrote only two books and one of them caused a sensation around the world. The book "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" issued a circulation of 4 million copies and became one of the masterpieces of American classics.
In his book, the author tells the story of a 17-day trip on a motorcycle with his son Chris on US cities. During the trip, various events occur in the example which Pirsig thinks about values, about how we are attached to material things.
You know how to write a perfect picture? It's easy. Make yourself perfect, then just write it naturally.
The highlight of the book is that the author may have the same zeal tell of the subtleties of metaphysics and how to lubricate the chain on the bike. The only thing you can blame the author, is that by the middle of the book read hard, because complex allegories and comparisons, but nevertheless, the number of important and interesting information eliminates the shortcoming.
The truth knocks on the door, and you say: "Go away, I'm looking for the truth." And she leaves.
