REVIEW: "Whole life". Key skills to achieve your goals
Productivity Books / / December 19, 2019
Today, I am speaking in an unusual role, trying to talk about the book "Whole life. Key skills to achieve your goals, "published"Mann, Ivanov and Ferber». Despite the fact that I am skeptical about the majority of the books in the niche of "Motivation, self-development, efficiency and so on. "I got the pleasure of reading, and to be honest, I believe that the book will be useful. It is hardly indispensable, but the authors themselves admit that they are not new ideas, interspersing reference text on different sources. However, they succeeded in a fairly concise manner (which is unusual), to convey their point of view on how to set a goal and how to change themselves in order to achieve it.
What I liked? Not excessive amount of "water" and common phrases, lack of motivation and frankly quasi-psychological quirks, the presence of sufficient specific directives and auxiliary materials, such as tables and lists.
What I did not like? The presence of a certain incoherence in the text, and I do not know whether this is a consequence of the translation or the original editing, and "freezes" the idea of a couple of times. But make a reservation, this may be due to my perception specifically.
A useful book I can safely be called, in fact, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to change something in their lives. I'm just afraid that without a strong intention and the presence of some other literature, and even better - the next person, this book is not enough.
But three or four hours, it certainly is worth it. It can be even a few times to get to the next shelf: there is something to remember and re-read.
