The Finnish company HMD Global, which since 2016 has been producing phones under the Nokia brand, today announced updated lineup of classic push-button phones.
The new Nokia 106 is restarting old model in 2013. The phone design has changed, and there was a second slot for a SIM card. In addition, the internal memory has been expanded to 4 megabytes. This is enough to store 2000 contacts and 500 text messages.
Of course, the novelty can not be called an advanced modern device, because there is no slot for a memory card or even a camera there. But such modest specifications, including a 1.8-inch TFT-screen with a resolution of 120 × 160 pixels, similar functions are unlikely to be needed.
Still boasting phone have something, because the minimum capacity is compensated by an impressive run time. Removable battery 800 mAh provides up to 15 hours of talk time and up to three weeks of standby time.
Gadget worth only 1 590 rubles. Sales of the new Nokia 106 in Russia will start in November this year.
