Today, Microsoft has introduced its own messenger called Microsoft Teams. The development is designed to become a new communication standard for corporate clients, a unified way of business correspondence.
With the help of Microsoft Teams users can exchange text messages, share files and perform multiple tasks, regardless of the chosen platform. The app will be available to owners of devices running Windows 10, Windows Phone 10, iOS, and Android.
Unlike Slack, one of the most popular corporate communication methods, Microsoft Teams offers a deep integration with corporate services company. For example, participants in a conversation can be directly in the application to edit the same document in Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
Also, users of the messenger will be available the possibility of audio and video conferencing via Skype. In this case, it does not matter what language spoken interlocutors - proprietary technology of Microsoft Translator via simultaneous interpretation functions provide a complete understanding of each other.
As part of Office 365, Microsoft Teams package will be distributed free of charge when active subscription regardless of its type. According to official data, the application with support for 18 languages will be available soon on the territory of more than 180 countries.
At the moment, the development can be downloaded only registered members of the pre-test program. Full release is expected in the first quarter of 2017.
