The full-featured version of Photoshop CC for the iPad will be released in 2019

As part of the Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles, Adobe announced Photoshop CC for the iPad. This application will have the same features as the desktop version. The users will be available in exactly the same toolbar, layer management interface that is identical to the set of filters and settings, masks and more.

All functions are optimized for the iPad screen with support for multi-touch and digital pen. Changes in the PSD-files on the Apple tablet will be synchronized via the Creative Cloud with the desktop version of Photoshop, which will fully edit the same file from multiple devices.

This compatibility has been achieved due to the use in the application for the iPad the same code base as the desktop version of Photoshop CC. No export, transform or more settings when moving files is not required.

Photoshop CC for iPad release is scheduled for 2019. To strongly not to delay the launch, the developers introduced the first version of the app with an incomplete set of functions. Missing features will be added with updates.
