Google has developed a fairly simple, but at the same time an effective way to speed up web page loading on both the computer and the phone. The algorithm is called Lazy Mode, it can be called "lazy loading". So far it only works in a test Canary-version Chrome browser.
The principle of operation is quite simple Lazy Mode: the browser first loads only the area of the page, which is visible on the computer screen, or any other device; the rest of the web page receives a low priority download. Thus, the desired area of the site will appear on the screen, and the rest quietly loaded with a slight delay.
To activate this mode you need to:
- download browser Chrome Canary for Windows, Linux or OS X on the official site to Google.
- Install and launch the browser, and in its address bar to enter the text chrome: // flags / # enable-lazy-image-loading
- You will see two items under the names Lazy Image Loading and Lazy Frame Loading. Both need to be translated into a state of Enabled.
It is expected that the function "lazy loading" will appear in a stable version of Chrome for computers within a few weeks.
