10 well-known American adaptations of manga and anime

While some viewers praise good special effects and visuals, others criticize the adaptation for the loss of the original atmosphere. This film is based on a light novel (a book with plenty of illustrations) called All you need is kill. The authors left unchanged the basic plot - the idea time loop and use the past experience in a new battle - but decided to experiment with a lot of details. For example, in the original Rita Vrataski also constantly returned to the lived moment, and aliens every time changed the course of the same battle, because they themselves moved after the heroes. In addition, the other became final and Americans have made it traditionally optimistic. But despite the differences with the original, the film came out successful.

And here South Korean film adaptation 2003 from director Chan-wook Park's gained popularity quickly and is recognized worldwide. In this case, the plot of the film was very different from the original, even changed the motivation of the main villain. The American version of 2013 refers rather to the previous picture, and not on the manga. While here, the ending has been changed.
But at least a new dynamic remake filmed, and starring actors excellent lit, the majority considers painting Pak Chan-wook is much more interesting.

Moreover, the original animated series was quite well known in the USA for distribution in the voice acting even changed all the names in the English language. But despite the talent of the directors, the film was released mediocre. It's a simple family story about the race, which loses much original. The filmography Wachowski "Speed Racer" is considered one of the weakest works.
