"Narco"? It's about the drug?
Not at all. The series tells the story of drug trafficking and the hunt for the most famous drug lords. The first two seasons were dedicated to the fate of Pablo Escobar, who founded the Medellín Cartel - the largest in the world. In the series, we first meet him in person accompanying the illegal transportation of household appliances, but small illegal transportation remain in the past after the first delivery of cocaine to the United States. Ahead of Pablo billions in revenue and hundreds of casualties and even attempt to get into power.
Steeped in corruption or overcome with fear, local officials and the police are unable to cope with the ensuing narkoimperiey, and he comes to the aid of the US Drug Enforcement Administration. In Colombia, comes one of the best agents, who, together with their local counterparts starts risky and dangerous operation to capture Escobar.
show script was written based on the personal memories of the main characters of the protracted persecution: Drug Enforcement Administration agent Steve Murphy from the United States and his Colombian colleague, Javier Peña. They willingly advised the authors, although not protesting artistic embellishments.
What is interesting, if you know what it was all over?
Despite the fact that many are familiar with the history of Escobar, this does not spoil the viewing experience. Quite the contrary. The series often switched to a documentary chronicling the events, adding sharpness, and recalling the reality of the situation, no matter how horrible and incredible as it may seem. And some scenes it is simply impossible to give the actors, having the record straight from the scene.
Spoilers do not spoil the impression of any of the first season of "Narco" or even more compressed at the second time. This is the case when a story you must see for yourself to believe it.
Why the show was a hit?
"Narco" won the audience from the very first episode. First, it shows great shot and great dilutes bored urban landscapes of cities immersion in a poor South American towns and neighborhoods tropical jungle. In addition to the exotic landscape and an abundance of happy laminated original dialogues in the official language of Colombia - Spanish.
The plot of "Narco" is very dynamic, and the rare and short breaks only allow a short time to take a breath before another round of action. This is also true for the second season, wherein the catalyst is a gradual approach to the expected outcome. If the first season is devoted to business and Escobar's career, the second more attention to his relationship with his family and understanding of the hopelessness of their situation.
In the spirit of Scorsese's films "Narco" masterly uses voiceover agent Murphy, retells and explaining intermediate part of the story. Insert Frame documentary chronicles fit very organically, and at some moment it is the actual recording start waiting for most.
Since the "Narco" goes to Netflix, for content restrictions in it no less vague than cable HBO, Showtime or Starz. Be prepared for the scenes of violence and nudity, as well as the eerie recordings from the field of real attacks and acts of terrorism.
And what about the third season?
The series moves in the 1990s, when, after the final collapse of the major players in the drug trade Escobar become his bitter rivals - Cali drug cartel, which controls more than 90% of the world market cocaine.
While Escobar did not disappear from the newspaper pages and news releases from Kali quietly became the world's largest supplier of drugs. Its leaders are no less greedy and ruthless, and soon was drawn to them all the attention of the Colombian police. Unlike the Empire Pablo, Cali - many-headed structure, successfully used a gap in the political and economic system of the state, and sometimes even myself being a part of them. So now the Department of Narcotics should follow different tactics to reduce the growing number of human casualties and prevent the expansion of the world of drug trafficking.
The team consists of good guys on the screens definitely be back Javier Peña and his colleague Steve Murphy, as in real life, it seems, will remain in the United States. Peña new American partners have become a young Chris Faystl agents (Michael Stahl-David, "The Black Donnellys" "Newcomer") and Daniel Van Ness (Matt Whelan, "Top of the Lake"), enthusiastically seek the participation in special operations in Colombia.
Will the third season duller without Escobar and Murphy?
A few days before the official premiere of the new season of "Narco" could look Telekritika. Almost all of them come together in a single opinion: in front of us waiting for 10 vertiginous episodes dense and shocking effect of the show in the best traditions. Some even called the third season of the best compared to the first two.
In the absence of a charismatic Wagner Moura in the role of Pablo in it it is hard to believe, but the authors do not exactly reduce the level of quality. Shaw managed to keep all the recognizable elements: catchy opening titles, high-end camera work and a lot of sharp turns as you move the plot. And remain familiar voiceover, however, this time they will pronounce agent Peña voice actor Pedro Pascal.
And if you hook the third season, you know, "Narco" has been extended for a fourth. Perhaps, like the first two, both of them will be devoted to one and the same narkoimperii from its dawn to the final collapse.
The trailer is already posted?
