According to Apple, the organization of files will be the same as in similar applications for iOS. You do not need to worry about the fact that, for example, music from your iTunes library will disappear - it just would be in the annex "Music." The same goes for playlists and smart playlists.

Movies and TV shows that you bought or rented in iTunes, will appear in the application "TV". That there is now need to buy video content.

podcastsTo which you subscribe, you get into the app "Podcasts." BUT audiobooks will appear in the updated program "Books".

You will still be able to buy music in iTunes. The corresponding tab will appear in the sidebar application "Music." ITunes gift cards too, can continue to use.

Recovery, backup and synchronization of data will now be available in the Finder.

Despite the fact that iTunes will disappear from macOS, Apple does not abandon the service completely. On iOS will iTunes Store app - in it you can buy music and movies. A version of the program for Windows and generally remain unchanged.
