The beta version of the layout switch Caramba Switcher is now available to all users of MacOS. About it reported Sergey Moskalev, a former employee of "Yandex" and author of the Punto Switcher. While the program supports a pair of Russian-English, but will soon be available, and three others - Russian-German, English-Greek and English-Ukrainian.
In MacOS-version, you can manually switch the last typed word or phrase selection, and change the layout a short pressing Shift. The app is able to omit the second capital letter, as well as to recognize passwords. In programming environments and games Caramba Switcher automatically switches off.
The program educates itself. If you delete the wrong switch abbreviation or a word longer than three letters, and then type it again, it will fall into the exceptions.
In the near future Caramba Switcher for macOS learn to identify the context of the edited words and convert double hyphens to em dashes.
The application runs on MacOS 10.9 and above. Developers listen carefully to user feedback, so we can safely write to them and offer their ideas.
