Company Extreme Reality has long been known for its developments in the field of motion capture technology. The results of their work are widely used in mobile phones, gaming consoles and SmartTV. Today the company announced that it does open your SDK for iOS mobile platform to all developers. Now it will be possible to manage applications and games using gestures using, for example, FaceTime camera.
Extreme Motion technology is unique in its kind. Programmatically analyzing human movement, it allows to manage any device through a standard camera. Any developer can effortlessly add gestures to control existing games or applications, bringing them a new experience of use. Control games will be using strokes of his arms, legs and body.
SDK can be downloaded for free, but the developer using the company's technology will be required to pay a 10% to 20% of revenue from sales. The first user of the new SDK was the company Sega, released last month, the game Go Dance for iOS. It allows you to dance and repeat the gestures of the game by using your body. All that is needed is to place the gadget upright and point the camera at yourself.
