Scientists: using a smartphone on the breaks, you are not relaxing

Scientists asked 414 students to solve some complicated word puzzles. Some were allowed to relax with a phone in her hands, some during the break can only use a computer or paper. Some participants did not rest.
Those who during the pause time used a smartphone, has been the highest level of mental exhaustion. Afterwards, they solve a puzzle about the same efficiency as the participants who did not take a break. Those who took the phone to perform the tests took 19% more time. In total, they have decided to 22% less problems than those who rested without a mobile device in hand.
