Tesla unveiled the armored truck Cybertruck

At the presentation of Tesla company in Los Angeles Elon Musk I introduced the four-wheel drive electric pickup Cybertruck. He received a solid armored body in the futuristic design, which was developed under the the influence movie "Blade Runner" and "The Spy Who Loved Me" (James Bond).

The car body is made of solid steel, can withstand penetration 9 mm caliber bullet. He was not afraid of the usual clashes and strikes that right at the presentation demonstrated with a sledge hammer.

Glasses at the car, too, high-impact, however, on the stage, they proved to be not at its best. To test the reliability of their Head of Design Franz von Holzhausen ran out the side window metal ball - the glass was cracked. Musk has promised to fix it in the production, noting that the ball still bounced to the side and did not get to the salon.

As befits a pickup, Cybertruck got a great load capacity - about 1.5 tons. Adaptive air suspension allows you to adjust the height of each axis in view of the load in the back.

With all this car was incredibly fast - top version can accelerate to 96.6 kilometers per hour in 2.9 seconds. That's enough to get around in the race even even the Porsche 911.

Complementing all this system is adaptive cruise control Autopilot and traditional function of automatic parking. Inside the machine is not less futuristic than the outside.

Sales Cybertruck appears in three versions: with one, two or three motors. Cruising from them as follows: 402, 482 or 804 km. The most affordable pickup modification will cost 39 900 dollars (≈2,5 million rubles). The other two will cost 49 900 and 69 900 dollars (≈3,2 and 4.5 million rubles). Production will be launched at the end of 2021.
