Google released a Chrome extension called Password Checkup, which will notify if your account is in jeopardy. When you enter your details on a particular site, the plugin will drive them through the base of the four billion usernames and passwords and will let you know if it finds a match.
Password Checkup does not transmit information related to your accounts, passwords, or device. Passwords are encrypted in the database, and the warning that the expansion sends only stored on your computer.
The plugin is completely free. If you find that your password has been subjected to the leak, you can create a new one via the built-in Chrome generator.
In January appeared information about one of the biggest data breaches in recent years. According to Microsoft, the network hit 773 million email addresses and 22 million passwords. A new extension of Google - another way to check to see if any of them were your data.
