“Physics teacher in the modern information environment” - course 12,000 rubles. from MSU, training 8 weeks. (2 months), Date: December 7, 2023.
Miscellaneous / / December 10, 2023
Additional postgraduate education for physics teachers.
Every year, the Faculty of Physics holds a summer school for physics teachers, and in addition, in the fall of each year, seminars are held. Classes are taught by leading professors and faculty members.
Goal of the program: Formation of a teacher who is ready to conduct elective and club classes with students to solve problems of an increased level of complexity, including olympiad problems. Some of the course materials contain comments and links to develop the teacher’s scientific research skills, the skills of forming topics for students’ research activities and guiding them. One of the most important elements of the course is its distance component. Thanks to it, course participants master working in modern distance learning resources, learn to work with documents in various formats, and work on the Internet.
Category of students (requirements for students) – physics teachers interested in developing their own information competencies, as well as subject competencies. Advanced training for physics teachers is based on the principle of variability, taking into account their experience, qualifications and individual interest. Education is not lower than secondary. The program is designed for physics teachers with at least three years of teaching experience, as well as those planning to teach physics in high school after a forced break.

The main goals of the program:
1. Implementation of distance education for physics teachers in an interactive form,
2. training in the basics of working with files and information on the Internet in relation to the MOODLE information environment used by course participants,
3. training in the basics of working in the MOODLE information resource design environment,
4. training in the basics of remote work in a team of students: chat, forum, communication with the teacher,
5. teaching basic approaches to teacher activities in distance learning for students,
6. development of subject and subject-methodological competencies of the teacher based on the development of algorithmic skills for solving physical problems,
7. preparing a teacher to work in a new capacity: a consultant to a student or group of students.
8. teaching the basics of the algorithmic approach to solving problems in physics.
