The goal is not to raise a child to be a genius with an overwhelming burden of knowledge, but to help a preschooler move to a new level painlessly and successfully.

What should a child know and be able to do before going to school?
Counting, writing and reading. For the first mathematics lessons, it is enough to count within ten and solve simple examples and problems. For writing - know letters and sounds, vowels and consonants, determine the number of sounds and syllables in simple words, hold a pen and pencil correctly. For reading - be able to read small sentences (4-5 words), understand and retell what you read, memorize poems.
General skills. Before going to school, a child should know his name, the names of his parents, his address and telephone number, the city and country where he lives. In online classes, they study animals, plants, days of the week, months and seasons, traffic rules, meet famous writers, and discuss professions. They learn to solve simple logical problems, solve riddles, build connections and chains of associations.

In the Sirius Future online school, the child gets an idea of ​​how real school classes are conducted.

He learns to communicate, build relationships, understand instructions and complete tasks independently, argue and defend his opinion. After training, he will easily pass an interview at school, will not be confused by questions from a psychologist or speech therapist, and will show that he is ready to study.

Classes are conducted online, the coach communicates personally via video link, supports the future student, adapts to the individual pace of learning, sees successes and rejoices at them together with the student. After such preparation, the child is intellectually, emotionally and psychologically ready for school.

What can you do at home?
For students of our online school, parental support is no less important. No additional curriculum activities are required—just help your child understand the value of education and try to make the process fun.

We recommend:

• Communicate more, answer questions, read books.
• Add a game element - count red cars, read signs.
• Organize joint physical education sessions.
• Discuss cartoons and fairy tales, share impressions.
• Give your child lessons on safety and behavior at home and on the street.
• Do crafts, collect puzzles, play board games.

The duration of a lesson for a 6-year-old child should not exceed 30 minutes (and online too). To prepare for school, a routine is important, so watch your sleep, nutrition, and walks. Don’t criticize or get angry if something doesn’t work out - report problems with the lessons to the online tutor.
