The basis of the course is the line of teaching materials of T.G. Ramzaeva. The course is intended for children who have completed the 2nd grade of primary school. The course introduces children to a set of concepts, rules and information about language, reflecting the interconnection of branches of linguistics: phonetics and graphics, morphemics and lexicology, morphology, syntax and punctuation. During the learning process, children master the necessary scientific terminology. The course pays serious attention to the compilation of algorithms for various language parses of words and sentences (phonetic, morphemic, lexical, morphological and syntactic). The course involves observation of the patterns of language, systemic and non-systemic changes in the language; the idea of language as a developing system is formed. The course introduces young students to the structure of texts of various types: descriptions, narratives, reasoning. Teaches the technique of writing various types of written and creative works: dictations, presentations, essays. During the learning process, students become familiar with various types of Russian language dictionaries and use reference and scientific literature.
