Purpose of the program - training of experts for the classification of hotels and similar accommodation facilities
Program objectives:
- To acquaint listeners with modern trends in the development of the Russian tourist and recreational complex;
- Show the role and place of hotel enterprises and similar accommodation facilities in the development of tourism in the country;
- Introduce students to the updated regulatory framework that determines the activities of hotel enterprises and similar accommodation facilities;
- Reveal the algorithm for classifying hotels and similar accommodation facilities;

As a result of training, the following competencies necessary for professional activities are formed: - the ability to use knowledge about the structure and characteristics of the functioning tourist and recreational complex of the Russian Federation when making management decisions on the development of domestic and inbound tourism at the federal, regional and municipal levels levels;
- ability to make strategic decisions and develop projects in the tourism and recreational sector on a cluster basis;
- readiness to solve practical problems in the formation, promotion and implementation of tourist routes, products and services in the field of domestic and inbound tourism;
- ability to apply and use modern information and communication technologies in practice for the formation, promotion and sale of tourism products and services in Russian and international markets.
A graduate of the professional retraining program in the direction of “Classification of hotels and other accommodation facilities” must:
-know: quantitative, structural and spatial features of the development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation at the present stage; regulatory and policy documents; principles for developing projects in the tourism and recreational sector; organizing the activities of enterprises operating in the field of domestic and inbound tourism; the basics of the formation, promotion and sale of tourism products and services; information and communication technologies for the formation, promotion and sale of tourism products and services;
