INSTRUCTIONS: How to Jailbreak iOS 8.3

Yesterday Chinese hackers team TaiG released eponymous utility for untethered iOS 8.3. While the tool is not very stable and available only in versions for Windows, but if you can not wait now to install Cydia on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, then we will tell you how it do.

All the steps below you do at your own risk. We are not responsible for any malfunction of your devices.

Before you begin

Before you begin the jailbreak process, keep the following in mind:

• It is highly recommended to backup your device via iTunes, so be restored to a healthy state, if necessary.
• You'll need iTunes version 12.0.1. If you have a newer version, uninstall it, reboot the computer, install the 12.0.1 (link - below).

Supported devices and EEPROM

List of supported devices is as follows:

• iPhone 6 Plus,
• iPhone 6,

• iPhone 5c,
• iPhone 5
• iPhone 4s,
• iPad (2, 3, 4, Air, Air 2)
• iPad mini (1, 2, 3),
• iPod touch 5.

The following firmware:

• 8.3,
• 8.2,
• 8.1.3.

What we need

For successful treatments iTunes 12.0.1, we need the jailbreak for Windows (

32-bit or 64-bit version) and TaiG Jailbreak Tool utility, which can be downloaded this link.

Once you make sure that all the steps above, you can proceed to jailbreak.

Step 1

Start TaiG Jailbreak Tool as an administrator.

If you have the password for the duration of the jailbreak, disconnect it.

step 3

The same applies to "Find iPhone» function: turn it off in the corresponding section of the settings.

Connect your iOS-device to the computer with the cable and wait until the utility identifies the device.

step 5

Be sure to remove the 3K Assistant check if you do not want to install a Chinese analogue App Store. Now you can press Start.

step 6

Will begin the jailbreak process, the device will restart several times. In no case do not disconnect it until the procedure is completed and the inscription Jailbreak succeeded!

Disconnect unit. After downloading, you will see Cydia icon on the desired desktop.
